Professional Standards Section

The Professional Standards Section includes the following four units:

  • The Internal Affairs Unit will ensure the integrity of the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office, which is achieved through investigating complaints of misconduct, conducting administrative investigations, and investigating uses of deadly force or use of force that result in serious injury.
